TWISTED : a story with a backbone
TWISTED : a story with a backbone is about dance, scoliosis and personal transformation. The story is told through monologue, movement, music and visuals, revealing Carter’s touching, yet comedic journey of living with a twisted spine while pursuing a career in dance.
INBODY: MOA Global Dialogue Thurs, March 18 – Sat, March 20, 6:30 – 9:00 pm.
INBODY will bring artists, athletes, scholars, activists, and future thinkers from around the world for a three day symposium to discuss and challenge accepted notions of the body. INBODY will be part performance, part provocation, and part discussion – posing such questions as: What is the body? How is the body used to communicate? Whose bodies matter? Each night will be a combination of performance, lecture, and discussion. http://www.moa.ubc.ca/events/
